Saturday critters

This week I have a mish-mash of wildlife, birds and farm animals.

The servitude was mowed last Friday; on Saturday, on our way to the Parkrun, we stopped so that I could photograph a Black-headed Heron foraging for food in the grass.

I noticed a slight movement out of the corner of my eye and moved the camera in that direction.
Duiker (female) We now have a pair on the land!

Along the regional road to the junction where we meet the main road, Grant stopped (again!) for me to photograph this beautiful raptor atop a tree.
Long-crested Eagle

Alongside a farm field, we stopped to listen to (and photograph) this lark below.

In the next field we stopped to watch the antics of these piglets

I'm linking to Saturday Critters with Eileen, here

HAPPY SATURDAY TO YOU ALL!
